Family: Verbenaceae
   
Form and Size: A straggly shrub or scrambler , 3 - 5m tall.
   
Distribution: Qld, N.T.,W.A.. and N.S.W. in coastal scrubs, rainforest margins and sometimes in mangrove populations.
   
Flowering Period: May to August.
   
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from fresh seed or cuttings. Prefers a sunny position and will tolerate saline inundation. It may be kept to a bushy shrub by pruning.
